Rachel Zoe, Maternity Style

I love Rachel Zoe. I love her style and I love the way she styles her clients.

So when Rachel announced that she is pregnant I could not wait to see how she would be rockin' the maternity wear. I need to go maternity shopping soon, so I started searching the web for inspiration from Ms. Zoe.

I was in luck too because when I opened up my email this afternoon I had the latest RZ fashion report it was all about maternity wear! My lucky day! I loved what she suggested in her email and I def plan on buying some of the things that she suggested.  Here is what she recommended for mommies-to-be.

As opposed to former generations, we are fortunate to live in a fashion-forward age that accommodates to style for every body, size and situation—pregnancy included. For example, both 1. 7 For All Mankind and 2. J Brand make maternity jeans (praise the denim gods!), which are a flawless starting point for a prego-chic look.

Other free form bottoms that are perfect for pregnancy are 3.leggings and 4. maxi skirts or full length dresses. Take your pick of the three styles and then you're ready to tackle the waist up! For tops, I recommend 5. long tunics, 6. flowy blouses and 7.ponchos to flatter your mom-to-be figure.

After reading what she suggested I "googled" Rachel Zoe pregnant because I really wanted to see what she has been wearing now that she is pregnant. I am in need of inspiration!

After looking at pictures of Rachel, I am indeed inspired! She looks gorgeous!

Love those earrings! Aren't they fabulous?

Obsessed!

I watch The Real Housewives.

All of them! The OC, NY, NJ, Atlanta, and now.....Beverly Hills!

For some reason, I enjoy watching the ladies from Bev Hills the most. To me they are the most entertaining and I love to drool over their clothes, homes, handbags, and most importantly their jewelry! I think everyone knows by now I have a deep love for jewelry and would love to own my own jewelry store one day.

I have been obsessing over Kyle Richards emerald green earrings all season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! They are to die for. I love them. I follow Kyle on Twitter and she tweeted the other day where she found them!

Don't you love them?

The gorgeous earrings are from Jennifer Miller Jewelry in NYC.  They are not real emeralds so they are affordable!!!

Valentine's Day is right around the corner!!!! Guess what I will be asking for?  **wink, wink**

What jewelry are you obsessing about right now?

This color makes me want to go someplace warm and tropical, right now!

Well, since that is not happening anytime soon, I will settle for dreaming about these beautiful coral pieces!

What not to wear......

The Golden Globes were on last night and I loved every second of it! Especially when the fabulously funny Ricky Gervais was on stage.

But my favorite part of the night is watching the stars walk in on the red carpet! I love seeing what they are wearing, their dress, their shoes and especially their jewelry!

Last night disappointed me.

I thought there were a lot more fashion disasters, than fashions triumphs.

Nude seemed to be the color of the evening. Few people can pull that color off. Even if you are one of the top actresses in Hollywood, doesn't mean you can rock every color that is out there.

Here are the stars that I felt really stood out and rocked the red carpet!  And the looks that completely bombed!!

Angelina Jolie. I did not like her dress or her hair. Looked far worse on live TV.
Sofia Vergara. Hot, hot, hot!! Stunning!
Olivia Wilde. Hate the dress. The hair is hideous. But the shoes rock!
Michelle Williams. Dumpy, frumpy. Seriously?
January Jones. Stunning and daring. Love.
Leighton Meester. Horrid. Did she look in the mirror before she left the house?

Natalie Portman looked radiant! I adore her.

Anne Hathaway looked amazing! As always.

I was so disappointed in Sandra Bullock. She usually looks great. Not tonight.

Halle Berry looks like a streetwalker. Seriously. Disaster.

Jennifer Lopez. This is the Golden Globes, not your 4th wedding.

Lea Michelle. Pretty, but too much dress for her. She is so tiny.

Amy Adams. Beautiful. Gorgeous.

Clare Danes. Not bad. But I was worried she would have a wardrobe malfunction. The dress was cut in really low on the sides.

Mila Kunis. Just perfect. Gorgeous color. Looked like a dream on TV.

Nicole Kidman. Once referred to as a fashion icon. Now I just think she looks hideous.

Carrie Underwood. Boring.

Jane Krakowski. Stunning. Work that adorable baby bump!

These were my top favorites and my top walking fashion disasters!

Who did you think looked the best?

It Is Awards Season!

It is the start of Hollywood awards season and I love every minute of it!  The Golden Globes are on tonight and I am so excited!  I love to see what the stars are wearing, who looks hot, and who looks like a hot mess, who shows up with a surprise guest, and which star has the most heart-felt acceptance speech.

I really love the Globes because they are more relaxed than the Oscars, and much more fun and unpredictable, especially when the fabulous and funny Ricky Gervais is hosting, as he is tonight.

To me Golden Globes is like the playoffs in the NFL and the Oscars are my SuperBowl.  I am particularly excited to see who wins this year because there were so many good movies and wonderful performances.

Here is a list of the major categories that received nominations, and who I feel/want to win!

Best Motion Picture-Drama

I think that The Social Network will win tonight. I have seen all of the movies in this category and they are all wonderful. Some, more than others. The Social Network just blew up the box office and had a lot of hype surrounding it. I will not be disappointed at all if any movie walks away with this prestigious award. They were all great, except, Inception. I have no idea how this movie even got nominated. It was good, just not award- worthy.

Best Actress-Drama

Halle Berry – Frankie and Alice
Nicole Kidman – Rabbit Hole
Jennifer Lawrence – Winter's Bone
Natalie Portman – Black Swan
Michelle Williams – Blue Valentine

Natalie Portman will definitely win. She was phenomenal in Black Swan and she more than deserves this award.  I will really be upset if she loses, but I don't think that she is going to!

Best Actor-Drama

Jesse Eisenberg – The Social Network
Colin Firth – The King's Speech
James Franco – 127 Hours
Ryan Gosling – Blue Valentine
Mark Wahlberg – The Fighter

This category is tough. All actor's were wonderful. So I am just going to go with who I want to win and that is Marky Mark. He was fantastic in The Fighter and he deserves to win. At least in my opinion!

Best Picture- Comedy or Musical

The Kids Are All Right will win. Almost a no-brainer.  The fact that The Tourist is even nominated is laughable.

Best Performance Actress-Comedy or Musical

Annette Bening – The Kids Are All Right
Anne Hathaway – Love & Other Drugs
Angelina Jolie – The Tourist
Julianne Moore – The Kids Are All Right
Emma Stone – Easy A

Annette Bening will win. Another category where I am shocked at some of the nominations. Really, Emma Stone for Easy A? Seriously.

Best Performance Actor-Musical or Comedy

Johnny Depp – Alice in Wonderland
Johnny Depp – The Tourist
Paul Giamatti – Barney's Version
Jake Gyllenhaal – Love & Other Drugs
Kevin Spacey – Casino Jack

Johnny Depp, with make-up. Enough said. Definite win for him.

Best Supporting Actress

Amy Adams – The Fighter
Helena Bonham Carter – The King's Speech
Mila Kunis – Black Swan
Melissa Leo – The Fighter
Jacki Weaver – Animal Kingdom

This could be a surprise. I really hope Amy Adams wins. I adore her and she was really really good in The Fighter. Go Amy!!

Best Supporting Actor

Christian Bale – The Fighter
Michael Douglas – Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
Andrew Garfield – The Social Network
Jeremy Renner – The Town
Geoffrey Rush – The King's Speech

Christian Bale deserves this award. He did a total transformation for his role in The Fighter and he turned in a "knock out" performance.

Best Director

Darren Aronofsky – Black Swan
David Fincher – The Social Network
Tom Hooper – The King's Speech
Christopher Nolan – Inception
David O. Russell – The Fighter

David Fincher. The Social Network. Big movie. Big hype. Big box office. Big win for him.

Best Television Series

Dexter (SHOWTIME)

Mad Men (AMC)

Oh wow. Tough category. All of these shows are good. I will have to go with my favorite. The Good Wife. Best. Show. In a long time. If you do not watch it, you should. But start from the beginning Season 1. Otherwise you will be lost.

Best Actress TV-Drama

Julianna Margulies – The Good Wife (CBS)
Elisabeth Moss – Mad Men (AMC)
Piper Perabo – Covert Affairs
Katey Sagal – Sons Of Anarchy
Kyra Sedgwick – The Closer (TNT)

The Good Wife is my fave TV show, so of course I am rooting for Juliana Marguiles. Plus she deserves it!

Best Actor TV-Drama

Steve Buscemi – Boardwalk Empire (HBO)
Bryan Cranston – Breaking Bad
Michael C. Hall – Dexter (SHOWTIME)
Jon Hamm – Mad Men (AMC)
Hugh Laurie – House (FOX)

I think Michael C. Hall will win. Another competitive category. I just feel Dexter will walk away with the award. Just a feeling.

Best TV Series-Comedy or Musical

30 Rock (NBC)

The Big C (Showtime)

Glee (FOX)

Have you seen The Big C? It is an amazing show, really the other shows are not worthy to be in this category along with The Big C. Except maybe, Modern Family. So it could go either way, but I think the HFP will ultimately go with The Big C.

Best Actress TV-Musical or Comedy

Toni Collette – United States Of Tara (SHOWTIME)
Edie Falco – Nurse Jackie (SHOWTIME)
Tina Fey – 30 Rock (NBC)
Laura Linney – The Big C (Showtime)
Lea Michele – Glee (FOX)

Laura Linney is my pick. Again, as long as it is not Glee. The second season of Glee has been a huge disappointment with a lot of re-runs. It has lost its "sparkle" for me.

Best Actor TV-Musical or Comedy

Alec Baldwin – 30 Rock (NBC)
Steve Carell – The Office (NBC)
Thomas Jane – Hung (HBO)
Matthew Morrison – Glee (FOX)
Jim Parsons – The Big Bang Theory (CBS)

I hope Steve wins. It is his  last season on the show. Wouldn't it be great for him to end on a high note?

Best Supporting Actress TV

Hope Davis – The Special Relationship
Jane Lynch – Glee (FOX)
Kelly MacDonald – Boardwalk Empire (HBO)
Julia Stiles – Dexter (SHOWTIME)
Sofia Vergara – Modern Family (ABC)

I really really want Sofia to win. I love Modern Family and she is hysterical in her role. Plus she got dissed last year.

Best Supporting Actor TV

Scott Caan – Hawaii Five-O
Chris Colfer – Glee (FOX)
Chris Noth – The Good Wife (CBS)
Eric Stonestreet – Modern Family (ABC)
David Strathairn – Temple Grandin (HBO)

What can I say? I love love love Modern Family!

Who do you want to win tonight?
