New Love!

I just tried a new fragrance that smells so wonderful! Miss Pucci by Emilio Pucci!

This fragrance is nice and light! Perfect for spring time! I just tried it for the first time yesterday and I loved the way it stayed on and it was not too strong.  My husband even noticed I had a new fragrance on and commented that he really liked it! Double win!!!

In Honor of the Tragedy in Japan....

Due to the ongoing horrific tragedy in Japan, I will not be posting tomorrow. In honor of those suffering and struggling in Japan I will be participating in a blogging day of silence.

These images shock me, and break my heart. I continue to pray for the victims of this horrible disaster.  I can not even imagine what they are going through.

Please keep the Japanese in your thoughts and prayers.......

What I am Loving, and Not Loving so much these days....

I thought that I would share with you some things that I am currently loving! And also some things I wish I had never bought. I thought by sharing both things, I could spare you the same mistake of spending good money on something that just is not worth it. Or find something that you may not have tried!

The first beauty product that I love is my Hydra Serum by Dior. I seriously could not live without this moisturizer. Ok, well I would live, but I would most definitely notice a difference in my skin. It is such a great serum and really makes a huge difference in how your face looks. Also, you will notice your make-up will go on better too! Double win!

I consider myself a lip-gloss connoisseur, or hoarder, Whichever your prefer. I have a serious addiction to lip glosses. I think I have tried every gloss on the market. My favorite is Chanel glossimers. The best. At least in my book. They go on without being too sticky and they stay on! I have yet to find a color I have not loved!

I have found a new food addiction! Greek yogurt by Chobani! I eat it every morning for breakfast and I just can not get enough of it! I have never been a huge yogurt fan, but this changed they way I think about yogurt! So good, and good for you!

I really do not know what I would do without my VS sleepshirt! I have several in different colors and styles. They are super comfy and since my baby bump is growing by the hour, these are great because they are stretch and are growing with me too!  Perfect for the warmer months coming ahead because they are made of cotton and will not leave you feeling hot at night while you sleep!

I bought this lipgloss because it looked great online and I usually love Dior cosmetics. However, I am not loving this gloss!  It is much lighter in color than it appeared online, looks almost transparent. It also does not stay on long at all. After 2 minutes of wearing, it is off! So save yourself from ever having to try this!

I decided to try a new eye cream. BIG mistake! I should have just stayed with my two faves by Chanel and Dior, instead of trying this eye cream by Bobbi Brown. Big disappointment. I have used it for several weeks now, and it just is not as good as my tried and true! No need for you to try this!

I tried this nail polish on an impulse because it said it dries fast! Well, it does dry fast! It just does not stay on! It will chip within an hour. Junk. I already threw it out!

Mission: Find a Diaper Bag!

I have been on the hunt for a fantastic diaper bag for some time now. I just can not find one that I love.

Since we know that we are having a little boy, hubs told me not to even think about a "girly" looking bag, which ruled out all of the awesome hot pink bags that I found.  I was wondering if pink would be inappropriate as little boy's diaper bag, but I am the one carrying it, right?

So, I have found some bags that I really do like! Not a pink bag in the bunch! I really wasn't that serious about a pink bag..... :)

But I do want something that is stylish!

What's going on?

Hello friends! Sorry I have not posted in a couple of days! I just have been super busy trying to get over being sick, which I can say I am feeling almost 100%, and hubs birthday is THIS Friday! So I have been running around getting things ready for his special day!

We will be celebrating his birthday this weekend in Atlantic City! I am so excited for his BIG DAY and it should be fun! But, a different kind of trip since I am almost 6 months pregnant! We are planning on going to Bobby Flay Steak for dinner Friday evening! I love to eat and I love Bobby Flay, so I have been looking forward to this dinner for some time!

I finally went shopping for maternity clothes yesterday! Now, don't get me wrong. I am NOT little. I keep getting bigger and bigger by the day! I have needed new clothe for some time! I was just trying to get by with my loose (not any more!) fitting dresses and yoga pants. I did not want to have to buy winter/spring/summer maternity clothes, that is why I held off for as long as I possibly could! But I am so sick of the clothes I have been wearing, that I really never want to see them again! I am thinking about burning them! I just can't stand the sight of them anymore because I have worn them so much! So, on my shopping trip yesterday I bought 2 new pairs of jeans, 5 new tops, and a pair of army green cargo pants. Very happy with my purchases.

For all of you mama's out there, is there anything that I absolutely MUST have maternity clothes wise? Please share your thoughts!!!

The Girls Are ALL Coming Back!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, that is!

I think by now, you all know that I am obsessed with reality TV! I

I was completely addicted to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! I never missed an episode and I have been obsessed with Kyle's green earrings for some time now!

According to Radar Online, they ALL will be coming back for a second season!

This news just made my Monday morning so much better!

I don't think the show would be the same if even one of the ladies decided not to return!

Just Call me Ms Blowfish

I have been sick the past couple of days. Really sick with an upper respiratory infection. Which I think is now a full blown sinus infection, combined with a cough and sore throat.
I like to self-diagnose myself.
I need to go to the doctor, but I have NO energy. None. I have never felt this drained.

Last night I managed to get out of bed and go downstairs for dinner.
I had to.
I was starving.

I had not looked at myself in the mirror all day, no need to I was in bed all day.
But when I did I was shocked.

My entire face was horribly swollen.

Not just a little puffy.

But completely blown up, along with dark circles under my eyes.

I turned to hubs and told him I couldn't believe how puffed up my face was.

He said, "no it isn't honey" without really looking.

I told him, "no, LOOK at me!"

He did.

And his response was "holy crap! Should we take you to the ER?"

He was being completely serious.

That is how bad it was!

The ONE word I can not stand!

"Why?"

I have a very STRONG feelings for this word.

Disgust. Hostility. Loathing.

Because asking this question "why?" rarely gets you an answer. Or it rarely gets you the answer that you are looking for.

I roll this questions round and round in my head. Almost obsessively.

Looking and searching and hoping for answers that I know deep down will never come.

But, I still keep thinking about it. Non stop.

I know this can not be healthy.

I try and control it and tell myself to stop thinking about "why?"

But, that is easier said than done.

I think about "why did I stay in my job so long when it was taking such a huge toll on my life?"

No answer that adequately makes me feel better ever comes to mind.....

"Why was my sister in such a horrific life-changing car accident? Why?"

This will never be answered.

"Why did I let my career take over my life and I lost who I was for a short time?"

I have no idea......

"Why.....?"

For so many questions that will never be answered......

I need to let it go.

Because "why?" is a question that will never have an answer.

What I am Infatuated with Wednesday!

Reality TV!

The smuttier, the better! I watch it all!

Except for Jersey Shore, or Teen Moms. That is just a different kind of reality tv that I don't care to watch.

But I love everything else!

Some of my favorite shows are starting to wind down, and soon we will find out who won or who is going to get the "final rose". Yes, that means I watch The Bachelor! I love it. Don't judge! My grandma and I actually text each other during the show about who Brad will pick or what the girls are wearing. And yes, you read that right! My grandma knows how to text! She is almost 80 years old, and she is my best friend. I love that she knows how to text! She is actually pretty good too!

Two of my favorite shows that I never miss are about to finish their seasons in the next 2 weeks and I can not stop obsessing about who I think is going to win or get the ring!

I never miss Top Chef All Stars! It is my far one of my favorites and it is one reality show that hubs will watch with me! We both love good food and have been lucky enough to eat in some of the contestants and judges restaurants!

With just 5 contestants left, it is getting down to the wire and I can not wait for tonight's show! My 2 favorites are Richard and Antonia! I would be so happy if either of them won!!

The Bachelor is down to the final 2! I really like Emily and her story of the loss of her fiance breaks my heart. She is so sweet and kind and beautiful! Emily is my pick for Brad. I really want to see them live happily ever after. I know, I am probably delusional in thinking that way, but I can't help it!

Bethenny is Happy!

Bethenny Ever After premiered last night and I have been looking forward to this show for months!

I am not kidding you.  I set a reminder for myself on my phone to record it. This totally cracked my husband up when the alarm went off Sunday night and the screen said "Record Bethenny Ever After"! He thought it was hysterical that I set the alarm one full day ahead of time. But, I have horrible pregnancy brain and if I do not remind myself, I will forget. No doubt about it.

I adore Bethenny. By far, she is my favorite "housewife", or should I say "was" now that she has her own show!

I think she has great style and I love her sense of humor and her directness!  She has a lot of drive and motivation and she is on her way to building a one woman empire, while raising a baby and being a good wife to Jason. I do not know how she manages to juggle everything! I can barely keep my own house clean!

Last night's premiere did not disappoint! 

Even hubs watched it with me (he usually hates my reality tv) because he thinks Bethenny is hysterical 

and he thinks Jason is a good guy.  We laughed from beginning to end!  A lot of the conversations they 

had with his parents on the show last night reminded us of discussions we have had with our own 

parents.  Sometimes it is good to know that we all go through the same things!
