Several of you asked how my trip to LA with my husband went several weeks ago. Well, I didn't go. It would have been my first time away from baby O, and I ended up getting cold feet. Big time. I cancelled my flight a couple of hours before it was to take off. Hubs was incredibly understanding. Some things had happened, and I just did not feel completely comfortable going. But now I am going to try again! I leave in 6 days for LA!!! Wish me luck. Seriously. I am gonna need it!

that is the sign of a great mom!! I remember the first time I left Matthew (my oldest) I was sick to my stomach and had a miserable time, dont force yourself to go unless you are ready!!

ReplyDeleteGreat quotes. I was sad to leave Sterling the first time too. I went to Miami for a bachelorette weekend when he was about 1. I had a great time but everytime I saw other kids it made me miss him so much. But it is good to get away sans children even if we do miss them! Have a great weekend!
