Happy Monday loves!! I can't believe April is almost over!

This morning I wanted to share with you some new makeup and fragrance finds that I am loving right now. You could say I am somewhat obsessed with makeup and alway trying new products. So I will always share with you what I am finding out, and what is a definite must have!

I love Chanel make-up. But this foundation/compact is taking my love to a whole new level.  This compact creme goes on smooth and even with little effort. And it has an SPF of 15.It provides the perfect amount of coverage and helps my dark circles look almost invisible. Go get it now!

Next on my list is one of the few products I could not live without. Smashbox bronzer in Starburst. Perfect color to make my pale face look like it has a nice sun kissed glow. I use this daily and it is definitely one of my faves!!!

I am usually not a fan of anything "daisy". But this new perfume by Marc Jacobs is amazing! I received this for my birthday and I just can't get enough of it. It has everything that I love in it in a perfume. Fruity, floral, flirty, and feminine! Great fragrance for spring/summer. Both Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh are divine!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week. I am definitely ready for the weekend!

Several of you asked how my trip to LA with my husband went several weeks ago. Well, I didn't go. It would have been my first time away from baby O, and I ended up getting cold feet. Big time. I cancelled my flight a couple of hours before it was to take off. Hubs was incredibly understanding. Some things had happened, and I just did not feel completely comfortable going. But now I am going to try again! I leave in 6 days for LA!!! Wish me luck. Seriously. I am gonna need it!

Hot Hollywood Couples

Happy Thursday lovelies!

It's almost the weekend and I have had a long week with baby's sleep regression. So lets dish about current hollywood couples! Its's fun to gossip about Hollywood couples. This is the only kind of gossip of like, so lets get started!

Justin and Jessica. They have been together on and off for years. Gorgeous couple. Yet, I will be surprised if a wedding actually happens.

I don't get this pair. Minka and Wilmer. How does Minka go for Derek Jeter to Wilmer? It;s just of those things that make you go "hmm?"

I mean, does it get any hotter than George? I think not. And Stacey is beautify and seems very sweet. I am rooting for this relationship to work. Although with Mr. Clooney's track record I am not betting on it.

They are considered Hollywood's Golden Couple. But I just feel kind of "meh" about them. Whatever. Moving on.

Is this for real??? Seriously. Kim and Kanye.

Love Jennifer. In my book she can do no wrong. I hope she really found her prince with Justin. I really want her to be happy. She is so gorgeous in a more down to earth way and she deserves to live her happily ever after.

Ryan Reynolds. Super hot. Blake Lively. Bombshell. Can you even imagine how amazingly beautiful their kids would be?

It's Wednesday!! Yay!

Baby has not been the peaceful little sleeper he used to be. The past 3-4 nights he has been up. Screaming. Not like him at all. Last night he was up for 2 hours crying and screaming and nothing calmed him down. So needless to say I did not get any sleep. I am a little brain dead today and have zero inspiration for a blog post.

Better Late Than Never!

Happy Tuesday Loves!

I have been out of town all weekend visiting family and celebrating my 29th Birthday (for the 5th time because I am really 34, but refuse to admit it :)).

So, our "Weekend in our World" post is a day late, since I just got back late last night! But I had an amazing weekend with my family and watching baby O and my nephew play together was so wonderful. The fact that it was also my birthday was just the icing on the cake!

We spent the whole weekend with my brother in law and sister in law and my father/mother in law and sweet nephew at their new home in Old Town Alexandria. It was a wonderful weekend spent relaxing, talking, eating, and having some cocktails!

Today I wanted to share with you 3 things that I am "seriously loving" for my face and skin right now!

Don't you just love that Sephora gives out amazing samples? This is how I found out about Murad Clarifying Mask. My skin tends to get a little on the oily side, especially when the weather gets warm. I use this mask, once a week, for about 10 minutes. When I take it off, wha-la! My skin looks instantly better. Clear and fresh! This is a definite must have in you skin-care routine!

Who doesn't want their skin to look smooth, and perfect? Well, Urban Decay's Pore Primer will definitely help you achieve that! I just put it on after my moisturizer and before my foundation. And Boom! My skin looks smooth and even!

If I were stuck on a tropical island, and I could only have one beauty product with me, this would be it. I am so addicted to my Chanel Glossimer. It really is the best. You really can't go wrong with any of the fabulous colors they have! I like to stick to the pale pinks, so that my lips have just the right amount of shine!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey!!!

I will be honest, I think I am getting just a **wee** bit tired of the housewives franchise on Bravo after the complete and utter mess of the last Beverly Hills season. It was just too dark for me. Watching someone with an addiction problem, a marriage fall apart, domestic abuse, and a suicide, it was just too much for me.

But, I am not giving up on the "Wives" just yet! 

So I will be tuning in to see Jersey! I am a little excited to see what happens.

Brunch Anyone?

I had my family at my house for Easter and I served brunch after our church service. I made several new dishes Easter weekend and one that I tried was "Broiled Portobellos with Creamy Scrambled Eggs." I wanted to share this recipe with you because it was perfect for brunch!

I found this recipe on BonAppetit.com. It's the other recipe site I stalk besides Pinterest!

The broiled portobellos were delicious and a huge hit with my family! 

Here is a picture I took of the portobellos plated with asparagus and spaghetti squash. I wish it came out better!

Ingredients

• 6 4- to 5-inch-diameter portobello mushrooms
• Olive oil
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 12 large eggs
• 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) butter

Preparation

• Preheat broiler. Line large baking sheet with foil. Remove and discard mushroom stems. Scoop out and discard tough inside centers where mushroom stems were attached. Brush both sides of mushrooms generously with olive oil. Place mushrooms, dark gill side up, on prepared baking sheet. 
  
  
  Sprinkle mushrooms with minced garlic, then sprinkle generously with salt and pepper. Broil mushrooms about 5 inches from heat source until beginning to soften, about 5 minutes. Turn mushrooms over; broil until tender when pierced with knife, about 7 minutes longer.
  
  
  DO AHEAD 
  Can be made 2 hours ahead. Let stand at room temperature. Before continuing, rewarm in 350°F oven until heated through, about 10 minutes.

  Whisk eggs, 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper in large bowl to blend. Melt 5 tablespoons butter in heavy large skillet over medium-low heat. Add eggs to skillet and stir gently in circular motion with wooden spoon or heat-resistant rubber spatula, releasing cooked eggs from bottom of skillet and allowing uncooked portion of eggs to flow underneath. Cook until eggs are set but still soft, about 4 minutes total. Dot with remaining 1 tablespoon butter.

  Arrange hot portobello mushrooms, gill side up, on plates. 
  
  
  Top with eggs, dividing equally. Sprinkle with remaining 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, dividing equally, and serve.

They are very delicious! Promise!
